Our Story: From Healing Skin to Healing Souls

At the heart of Pure Bliss lies a story of personal transformation, resilience, and the power of returning to nature. Pure Bliss began not as a business plan, but as a deeply personal mission, a journey sparked by skin struggles that wouldn’t go away and a desire for something better. Our founder, a young Black woman living in Amsterdam, grew up navigating the challenges of having dry, sensitive, and eczema-prone skin in a beauty industry that rarely catered to her needs. Most mainstream products either irritated her skin or were loaded with ingredients she couldn’t even pronounce.

In an effort to reclaim her wellness, she turned to the roots, both figuratively and literally. Guided by a passion for holistic healing and traditional plant wisdom passed down through generations, she began to experiment with raw, organic ingredients like shea butter, calendula oil, chamomile, and colloidal oatmeal. Her kitchen became a small sanctuary of trial, error, and eventually, breakthrough. What started as personal healing soon became a calling.

Friends and family noticed the glow, both in her skin and her spirit. Requests began to pour in. Soon, what had started as a side passion turned into a purpose-driven brand: Pure Bliss. The name wasn’t chosen by chance. It reflected how the products made people feel, nourished, empowered, radiant, and connected.

The brand's foundation is deeply tied to authenticity. Pure Bliss isn't about chasing trends or pretending to be perfect. It’s about offering skincare that honors your body, your roots, and your right to feel good in your skin, especially if you’ve ever felt overlooked in the beauty aisle.
